Maria Wonsonagoro, the President Director of TQPR Indonesia, turned businesswoman in 1980 when she took over the ownership and running of the Jakarta Hilton Business Centre. In 1985, she started IPM Public Relations as well as the IPM Training Centre, following two years later with IPM Video Productions. Simultaneously, from 1983 to 1991, Maria was a television reporter and producer of news and features for domestic and international television services. She set up TQPR Indonesia (PT Kharisa Kencana) on July 1, 1996. Maria currently concentrates on public relations and communications services.
Maria’s strengths are in management, communications strategies, media reporting including television, community relations, video production and training. A product of diplomat parents, Maria’s foreign education background gave her a fluency in English and an understanding of Western and Eastern cultures.


A founding partner and director of TQPR Indonesia (PT Kharisa Kencana), Edowati Sudjono is also a product of diplomat parents and foreign education. Educated in Japan, Brazil and lastly, at the Konstfackskolan (Industrial Design School) in Stockholm, Sweden, Edowati speaks Indonesian, English, Swedish and Portuguese. Prior to starting IPM Public Relations with Maria Wongsonagoro in 1985, her work experience included stints as Embassy social secretary, advertising executive and public relations manager.
Edowati’s strengths are in media relations, publicity, government relations, graphic design and advertising.
